JFS Employment Initiatives

The JFS Employment Initiative continues to offer a weekly Networking group that meets every Wednesday evening at the Federation Building from 7pm to 8:30pm. Anyone looking for a job or who is underemployed is welcome. The group is open to the entire Greensboro community. Triad Jewish Singles Mitzvah Corps is Here!

Triad Single Mitzvah Corps is here—a new group for the forty and over crowd. Meet and mingle while doing monthly social action projects in the community. Individuals will get together once a month at a local community agency and work together for one to two hours to help others. Afterwards there will be time and opportunity for socializing at the neighborhood coffee shop or wine bar. There is no admission fee, no compatibility tests, no pressure. more

Chile Earthquake Relief

JDC Creates Chile Earthquake Mailbox

To immediately help those in need, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) is accepting donations to aid relief efforts for the victims of the earthquake in Chile. JDC is the official humanitarian assistance organization for the Jewish community and the Jewish Federations of North America.
