Working Together Doing Mitzvot for Greensboro. Mitzvah Day 2010 is taking place on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Over 750 people participated last year! There are many worthwhile projects such as arts & crafts projects, indoor dirty work like painting or schlepping boxes, outdoor clean-up or gardening, cooking for those in need, and much more. Join the Greensboro Jewish community as we fulfill our shared Jewish obligation of Tikkun Olam, of "repairing the world".

Haiti Earthquake Relief

JDC Creates Earthquake Mailbox

To immediately help those in need, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) is accepting donations to aid relief efforts for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. JDC is the official humanitarian assistance organization for the Jewish community and the Jewish Federations of North America.
