We are pleased to share with you an update report on the JDC's emergency work in Haiti.

 

Thank you to everyone in our Greensboro Jewish Community who contributed to the Jewish Federation's Global Emergency Fund designated for Earthquake Disaster Relief in Haiti. Your contribution enabled JDC to respond quickly when the emergency first hit.

Your contribution continues to assist Haiti in its long-term recovery needs - long after the shocks from this earthquake are over. Looking ahead, JDC has identified health, community development and resilience-building as areas where they can have the most long-term impact. JDC will continue to work closely with local Haitian organizations partners to be better equip them for whenever the next disaster may surface.
